Dolly Mollinger

Margot Fréderique Amélie Eugénie 'Dolly' Mollinger (1911 - 2004) was a Dutch actress. During a job as a secretary at a film office, she was asked to do test shots and promptly given a lead part in 'De Kribbebijter'. In the same year, she starred in 'Het Leven is Niet Zoo Kwaad' with Fien de la Mar and Lou Bandy. After roles in 'Rubber' and 'De Man Zonder Hart', Mollinger left for England, where she had a supporting role in 'Vessel of Wrath' with Charles Laughton in 1938. In the late 1930s she lived and worked in Paris, appearing in the films 'Altitude 3.200' (Jean Benoît-Lévy, 1938) and 'Place de la Concorde' (Carl Lamac, 1938).
