Juliana Rojas

Juliana Rojas (Campinas, June 23, 1981) is a Brazilian filmmaker.
She graduated in cinema from the School of Communication and Arts of USP. Still in the university met the director Marco Dutra, with whom she initiated a partnership. The two directed together in 2004 the short film O Lençol Branco, selected in the Cinéfondation of the Festival de Cannes.
Her first feature, Trabalhar Cansa (2011), again in partnership with Dutra, was also shown at Cannes, at the show Un Certain Regard. Worked as an editor, in films such as the documentary Pulsações (2011), by Manoela Ziggiatti.
She won the Critics Award for best Brazilian film at the Gramado Festival in 2014, with Symphony of the Necropolis.
