Amitabh Reza Chowdhury

Amitabh Reza Chowudhury is a prominent filmmaker in Bangladesh. He is one of the most acclaimed and popular filmmakers in his native country. After watching Ritwik Ghatak's masterpiece The Cloud-Capped Star (মেঘে ঢাকা তারা) , he decided to make movies. In his career, he has directed nearly fifteen hundred television commercials (henceforth TVCs). Amitabh has also directed few television films to critical acclaim. He founded the production house 'half stop down', which mainly produces TVCs.
