Guy Poulet

Guy Poulet, born January 21, 1924 in Avignon and died October 24, 2009 in Antibes, was a French mountaineer and diver. He was one, after the war, of the best climbers in the forest of Fontainebleau, the Bleau group, around the "master" Pierre Allain - he is nicknamed "the fat" because of his strong muscles.
Guy Poulet is a former professor of physical education and sports, international diving instructor (in 1993) and mountaineer. On August 4 and 5, 1945, he made the first crossing of the Aiguilles de Chamonix with Pierre Allain, from the Aiguille du Plan to the Grands Charmoz.
