Tai Ming's attempt to convince Tung Shing to moderate his temperament only arouses ill feeling from Tung Shing. Mei Chi goes to the beach to enjoy sunshine alone and accidentally comes across Tai Ming. They spend a day together and when Mei Chi tells Tung Shing about it, Tung Shing expresses his disapproval. Mei Chi was once caught in a love triangle between Tai Ming and Tung Shing. Though she finally chooses to marry Tung Shing, she still regards Tai Ming as her close friend, although Tung Shing doesn't necessarily share the same feeling. During his depression, Sze Chung is able to encourage him so that Wing Tien regains his confidence for the future. They decide to work together to build up their business empire.
