Following Carrie's dismissal and the rumors about false circulation figures at ‘Communique', John assigns Alex and gossip columnist Lisa Monroe to write a story about it. Lisa has big sources inside 'Communique' but Alex has a hard time getting people to talk. Allen and Linda celebrate their 13th anniversary but after a fight with Carrie, he leaves to ""celebrate"" with Nikki instead.
