In the first season of River Cottage Australia, Paul West only scratched the surface of the farm's potential. During his time he tapped into a handful of people who shared his passion for food, farming & sustainable living. In this series he's ready to take on even bigger challenges. His aim is to expand the farm from a smallholding to a viable small farm, edging closer to self-sufficiency.When the series begins Paul is about to experience his first summer season on the farm. But using his experience of growing up in a rural area of Australia he takes each day in his stride. During the Summer and Autumn months the farm evolves, the garden grows and the livestock expands.
